The documentary fee is a dealer-imposed charge for preparing and processing documents related to the sale or lease of a vehicle, including title applications, registration documents, odometer statements, and other administrative paperwork. The documentary fee is not a government fee and is not required by law. Vehicle inventory and availability may vary, and vehicles may be sold before posting. Vehicle photos may not reflect the actual vehicle (Options, colors, miles, trim, and body style may vary). Demo vehicles may have accumulated mileage and may be sold as New vehicles. Actual mileage may vary from the mileage shown at the time of listing due to test drives or dealer use.
Courtesy Transportation Vehicles (CTP CTA/Loaners) are provided while customer vehicles are serviced. A CTP vehicle may qualify for New Vehicle incentives when sold as a retail sale or lease, but Michigan regulations require it to be sold as a USED vehicle. All documentation must reflect this. Once titled to the dealership, it cannot be sold as a New or a Demo vehicle. The warranty period starts when a vehicle enters CTP service.
